What is Peak Mentality Performance?

Peak Mentality Performance is a mental performance coaching program designed for athletes, performers, and professionals who want to consistently perform at their best, with motivation, and confidence. It combines the science of Sport and Performance Psychology with evidence-based methods to train both mind and body.

With the Peak Mentality training program, you will develop sharper focus, confidence, and composure under pressure, find clarity and consistency (discipline) in your work, and sustain peak performance. With dedicated and supportive coaching for each individual and their needs, you will align your mind with your goals so long-term change is authentic and a real competitive edge is formed and sustained.  

Why is Mental Performance Training important?

Mental performance coaching is essential because success is a long and winding path, that isn’t determined by skill or effort alone.  Success is shaped by how your mind and body handle intensity, stress AND drawn out periods without gratification. If you consistently train your physical skills, but are not training your mental performance skills the same way, you may be letting half of your potential go to waste. Even the most talented athletes, performers, and professionals can struggle with focus, confidence, stress, and discipline/motivation and having a dedicated mental skills training coach keeps you on track and running smoothly towards success.  Meeting with a Mental Performance Coach trains you to have a champion mindset/attitude no matter what life throws at you, the way a private lesson with a coach/teacher teaches you to improve your physical technique.

Meet Sabrina Shapiro, M.A., C.M.P.C.

Sabrina is a Certified Mental Performance Specialist® with the Association for Applied Sport Psychology, and a fencing coach. She received her Master's degree in Sport & Performance Psychology from National University and has over a decade of coaching experience and three decades of performance experience including fencing D1 NCAA for Temple University.  She provides a secure and supportive environment for competitive and complex minds to untangle their worst performance hang-ups and discover long-term solutions to thrive and succeed consistently.

Though Sabrina currently specializes in level-high, current and former competitive athletes, her lived experience and breadth of knowledge encompasses a far greater reach; she encourages any competitive athlete or performing artist who is struggling in life to reach out. Her own lifelong struggles with ADHD outside of sport has lead the development of her beloved signature "sustainable discipline" method designed for over-achievers, high-level athletes, and chaotically successful people.
